Welcome to Ivy Rae, where flowers and fun collide in the most fabulous way! I'm Alana, your enthusiastic flower aficionado and the proud owner and senior stylist here at Ivy Rae, a blooming gem nestled in Sydney's vibrant Sutherland Shire.

My floristry journey began six years ago when I traded in real estate for roses and hydrangea, and it’s been a whirlwind of petals and joy ever since. Inspired by my beloved dog Ivy Rae, who’s more of a floral muse than a flower arranger, I decided to turn my love for blooms into a full-time gig.

​

In 2020, I got hit with an MS diagnosis, but I’m not one to let that slow me down. Fueled by the boundless energy of my two amazing nieces and three lively nephews, I’ve kept blooming despite a waterskiing mishap that left me with a broken leg (thanks, Easter 2024!) Who knew the path to flower power could be so action-packed?

When I’m not arranging stunning bouquets or crafting dreamy floral displays for weddings and events, you’ll find me soaking up the sun with beach swims, picnics, bonfires, and a cheeky cocktail while chasing sunsets. With a Cancer sun, Sagittarius rising, and Capricorn moon, I’m all about balancing adventure with grounded passion.
